You will find the instructors friendly and approachable - don't be shy to ask questions and seek advice. All instructors remember their early training and how it is to be a thirsty student.

Mostly they remember how it is to realise one's improvements and to progress a journey of quiet achievement. They will enjoy your desire to improve and take pleasure in assisting you.

Enhancing Professional Development with Tai Chi Print E-mail

Celestial tai chi professional developmentThis November the Teachers from the Faculty of Further Education of NMIT had a special opportunity to practise Yang Style Tai Chi and Chi Kung at their annual Professional Development Day at Epping Campus. Talks and hands-on tasks on online learning, numeracy, literacy, language acquisition and diverse other topics were crowned with Tai Chi.

After a long day of workshopping and interacting with colleagues from several other campuses, they indulged in relaxing exercises and slow movements that helped them shake off the physical stiffness caused by lengthy sessions. Some of them audaciously twisted their bodies and learned to move gracefully in a Tai Chi way for the very first time in their life. Initial unease turned into relaxation and laughter, both a testimony to their feelings of delight. At the end of the day they left refreshed and happy.
